Lakers Add Defenseman for 2011-12

Lake Superior State University has received a letter of intent from defenseman Kevin Czuczman (pronounced Church-man) Newmarket Hurricaes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. The 6’3”, 200 pound, Port Elgin, Ontario native has 10 assists and 11 points in 22 games this season, after playing last season for the Junior B Waterloo Siskins posting 23 assists and 25 points in 49 games. Czuczman is a late bloomer who apparently almost gave up hockey after last season.
