LSSU gets verbal commitment from Richard Schofield

Pickering Panthers captain, of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League, and leading scorer Richard Schofield has given Lake Superior State University a verbal commitment for next season. Rick recently took home South/East MVP Honors form the OPJHL All Star game 2007. Rick was the 2006-07 south conference Most Improved Player and was the OPJHL December 2006 Player of the Month. Schofield has 34 goals and 33 assists in 45 games this season, in his scoring feats this year include 11 PPG, 12 PPA, and 6 SHGs. Last season Schofield had 20 goals and 44 points in 47 games, and posted another 2 goals and 5 points in 8 playoff games.
