Lake Superior Signs Emergency Goaltender

The Traverse City Record Eagle is reporting that Lake Superior State has signed Traverse City West goaltender Mitch Edmondson as a preferred walk-on to be the third string goaltender for LSSU this upcoming season. Edmondson posted a 9-2-1 record with a 1.34 goals against average and .945 save percentage last season. He was 4-0-1 in Big North Conference play, with a 1.16 GAA and .934 save percentage.
