LSSU Signs Goaltender for 2006-07 Season
Patrick Inglis of the Calgary Canucks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League has accepted a scholarship to play at Lake Superior State University next season. The 6 foot 4.5 inch, 205 pound 20 year old, Calgary native appeared in 49 games for the Canucks last season posting an 18-23-4 record, to go with his .905 save percentage and a 3.09 goals against average, Inglis recorded 4 shutouts in the 2005-06 campaign. Inglis went 3-5-0 in the playoffs for Calgary with a 2.38 GAA, and .932 SV%. Canucks Head Coach Don Phelps, "We are very happy that Patrick has accepted this scholarship. The Lakers are getting a very talented goaltender and a wonderful young man. This is an excellent opportunity for Patrick and we wish him continued success." Prior to playing for the Canucks, Pat spent three seasons with Drayton Valley Thunder also of the AJHL.
